5 Months Old

Happy 5 months old to me!

Wow, I can't believe I have been around for a whole 5 months, time really does fly!! I am weighing in at 12 pounds 13 ounces. My doctor says that she would like me to be gaining more weight, but I keep telling her that I am just petite and am watching how much baby fat I put on. I love to play with my toes and have even figured out how to put them in my mouth. Daddy says that isn't very fancy of me, but Mommy chimes in with how developmentally appropriate it is for me to chew on my toes. I am talking all of the time now...and I have been having play parties in my crib during the wee hours of the morning. Mommy and Daddy say they would like that to stop...but it is so much fun watching them fumble around my crib to find the pacifier and put me back to sleep! I haven't rolled over yet! Mommy is somewhat stressed about this but the doctor said not to worry. I am however very interested in standing. I would much rather stand than practice rolling over.
This is my laughing face...I think everything is SO funny!
