Chapel Hill

Before we headed down to the beach, I went to meet my friend Lilah. Lilah lives in Chapel Hill. My mommy and her mommy used to work together at an elementary school in Raleigh. Lilah's mommy never thought we would all stay in touch, but my mommy proved her wrong.

Our first adventure was to go see the Lemurs at the Duke Lemur Center. This lemur is staring right at me. I thought it was pretty funny!

Everyday after lunch, Lilah and I would visit the pool. Lilah loves the water, but I am still a little unsure about it. Daddy told me to be brave.

Here I am doing the "mommy pose". She said she will explain this to me when I am older. However, all of you that know Mommy should see the resemblance with the pose!

I just loved playing with Lilah and Gillian!



We went on a tour of the campus when we were there too. Here I am by the fountain. I liked looking at the water. Mommy tried to put my feet in, but I didn't think that was fun.

Mommy thought this building was very pretty so we took a picture.

Here we are out to dinner at one of the local places in Chapel Hill. It was very yummy!

I can't believe our visit went so fast. Lilah wanted to hop a ride with us to the beach, but I don't think this is too safe for riding in the car!

What a great trip to see our friends! We hope they come visit us in Pittsburgh soon!!
